Job description
As B2B Marketing Strategist, you will own and execute our inbound marketing engine, driving high-quality lead generation for Ask Phill. This is a strategic yet hands-on role where you'll mix campaign planning with practical execution, working closely with our in-house specialists and external partners to drive high-quality leads for our Shopify agency.
Our Marketing & Sales team at Ask Phill is actively engaged in a wide range of activities, from hosting regular events and podcasts to producing diverse content spanning written articles to video creations. You'll work alongside our Event Manager, external partners, and sales team to lead marketing initiatives that create engaging experiences and compelling content. As part of our team, you'll collaborate to ensure our projects resonate deeply with our target audience and drive meaningful business results.
The ideal candidate has a background in B2B marketing, is familiar with the Shopify platform, and has a solid grasp of the e-commerce landscape, including its current trends and future directions.
Responsibilities
Own Ask Phill's inbound marketing strategy and execution
Create compelling content including whitepapers, blogs, and webinars
Plan and execute marketing campaigns around events in collaboration with our Event Manager
Manage outgoing communications: newsletters, social media, and website updates
Oversee paid advertising campaigns with agency partners across LinkedIn, Meta, and Google Ads
Own our HubSpot CRM: track performance, analyse data, and continuously optimize the lead pipeline
Report insights and recommendations to the Commercial Director
Identify e-commerce trends and translate these into successful marketing campaigns
Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline processes and enhance campaign effectiveness

Tools you'll use

Job requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B marketing, preferably in an agency setting
Proven success creating engaging B2B marketing campaigns for both short and long-term goals
Fluent in English
Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making approach
Technical proficiency and experience with HubSpot CRM
Knowledge of online marketing channels, including email marketing, SEO, SEA and social media
Comfortable working with paid advertising platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Google Ads)
Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on approach to campaign execution
Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
Thrives in a fast-paced, agile, innovative environment
Additional useful experience
Experience with Clay and Lemlist for lead generation and outreach
Experience working with Shopify
Prior experience working at an agency
