Working at Ask Phill

Our mission is to set the industry standard for designing, developing and growing a D2C e-commerce experience.

The industry is still young, still growing, and so right now there are no standards for how to build a successful store. We keep ourselves open to experimentation, new ideas and creative freedoms to find innovative ways of developing high quality e-commerce experiences.

We aim to drive ourselves and the industry forward every single day. We innovate for our clients to make them stand out among their competition. We celebrate diversity by sharing our experiences and learning from each other. If this sounds good to you, and you have the skills, the energy and the ambition, we'd love you to join our ranks!

The team

You’ll join a young, diverse, vibrant and energetic team of professionals who are passionate about what they do and eager to learn more. We have a centrally located office in Amsterdam that’s always packed with friendly faces, warm food and cold beer.

We encourage everyone in the team to frequently get together for innovation sessions, dinners, drinks and parties because we believe fostering a strong team spirit amongst all colleagues leads to a better standard of work.

We’re big on collaboration and always encourage our separate teams to work together on projects. You’ll work closely with the sales team, learning from them along the way whilst they also learn from you, as we all pitch in to help our clients grow their businesses.

Job description

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in web/frontend development, preferably in Shopify, JavaScript and Next.js. or similar technologies. Do you also have an agency background? That’s a plus!
