Job description

As a Frontend Developer at Ask Phill, you have the opportunity and responsibility to define the development vision as well as the Frontend development team. You are taking the lead in multiple projects at the same time and ensures successful delivery, consistently. You are able get the best out of all the team members and take responsibility for the teams output.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and gets excited about leading different projects, with a love for collaborating with others. You have an interest in the current e-commerce landscape and an innovative and creative mentality, with the ability to deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences and the confidence to make justified recommendations for development work. 

Most importantly, you are extremely passionate about coding with a strong work ethic and an extraordinary attention to detail and precision.

You will use

React, GraphQL, Shopify storefront API, Liquid and headless CMS (Contentful), HTML, CSS

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer

• Experience in e-commerce development, preferably shopify

• Extensive Javascript knowledge (ES6), Liquid, Node, Webpack,React, Git and GraphQL

• A high level of dedication

• Pixel perfect development

• Able to estimate and deliver work on time and within budget

• Up to date with industry development  trends and tools

• Superb communication, organisation and time management skills

• An eagerness to improve your own development knowledge and abilities

Additional useful experience

• Experience with Headless e-commerce

• Shopify theme development skills

• Shopify App development skills 

• Have worked within a variety of agile development teams and processes
